As our Senior Financial Advisor, Kevin works with clients to answer questions regarding retirement and estate planning, asset management, strategies for business owners and tax strategies. Originally from Long Island, NY, Kevin graduated from Albany State University and began his career shortly thereafter. A leading force in the retirement planning field, Kevin quickly excelled in the industry and opened what is now FCA in 1997. He holds a Series 7, 24, 51, 63 and 65 registrations, VA Insurance license and maintains high-quality service and efficiency that FCA is known for.
Kevin is also a Founder and Chief Strategy Officer for f3Logic where he is the key link between managing partners and advisors. His role is integral to f3Logic's success by translating the overall goals of the company into an actionable plan.
When Kevin is not leading the FCA team, he enjoys running and cycling. He is a member of the Richmond Road Runners and has three marathons under his belt. As a way of giving back to the community, Kevin also makes certain that FCA puts its financial strength behind several Richmond charities, such as Embrace Richmond, Hanover Habitat for Humanity and Sisters Network, Central VA Chapter. Kevin is married to his high school sweetheart, Kelly, and they have three children.
As one of the original members and now a Managing Partner of Financial Consultants of America (FCA), I am responsible for developing, communicating, and implementing operational initiatives for FCA as well as internal policies and procedures. She also supervises the operations team and acts as a liaison to the advisors.
Over her nearly 20-year career, I have taken on many roles with increasing management responsibilities. I found success on many levels along the way that helped me in gaining valuable insight and experience in the Operations function within the financial industry. With this insight, I align the team with the needs of both the advisors and clients to deliver the highest quality customer service and timely problem resolution.
Additionally, I am a transition specialist that has assisted many of the teams at f3Logic. Erica provides expertise in back-end and middle office support such as technology, compliance issues, training, and overall support in preparation of transitioning to the independence that f3Logic has to offer.

Alan is a 25-year veteran in the financial services industry. In that time, he has held a variety of roles in the investment, banking, and insurance businesses. He is responsible for the overall growth of the FCA business, including sales management and business development. Alan holds Series 7, 24, and 66 registrations as well as a Virginia Insurance License.
When Alan is not at work, he enjoys playing golf, collecting wine, and spending time in the Outer Banks.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Chris has been with FCA since 2006. As a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative, Chris assists his clients in retirement planning, asset management, corporate retirement benefits and estate planning. He plays an integral role with FCA and is Series 24, 7 and 66 registered along with having obtained his VA Insurance license.
Prior to joining FCA, Chris earned his degree in business administration with an economics and sciences focus from Old Dominion University. There he embarked on his financial career to obtain the required licenses in order to become a financial advisor. Chris started his career in Virginia Beach working for American Express Financial Advisors after which he transitioned back to Richmond to settle his family roots as well as his practice.
Chris and his wife, Andrea, enjoy gardening, camping, backpacking and especially spending time with their beautiful daughters, Cora and Alice. Chris loves spending time outdoors and growing his knowledge as an advisor to better serve his clients.
Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Melissa has been with FCA since September 2008. She assists our current clients with any and all service requirements they may have on their accounts. In addition, Melissa assists in the training of our new employees and compliance reporting. You may hear from her as she also makes outgoing courtesy calls to existing clients on a regular basis. Prior to joining FCA, Melissa worked for such financial giants as Bank of America and Wheat First Securities.
When Melissa is not hard at work here at FCA, you can find her spending time with her husband at the BMX track watching their son Zack.
As a VCU grad, Phyllis’s career has consisted of various roles in the IT technology and financial services industry. Her experience includes business management at Hewlett-Packard CO. as well, workforce consultation and cash management with Wachovia. Phyllis has been servicing FCA clients since 2013, and plays a huge role in supporting the advisors with portfolios, preparing and processing data/paperwork related to the opening, closing and/or transferring accounts as well as assisting clients in ordering pension paperwork and 401(k) rollovers.
A beach bum outside of work, Phyllis can be found spending time with family and friends or restoring unique vintage cars (i.e. 1928 Hupmobile).
Holly was born and raised in Richmond VA Holly has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been with FCA since September 2018. Holly currently plays a huge role in our day to day operations by assisting the CSR's with daily tasks, completing distributions, Client scheduling and calls, and much more.
Holly enjoys spending time with her family, reading when she is able, and being outside with her two boys as much as she can.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Nancy grew up on the water, spending her summers boating, crabbing and fishing the rivers and bays of the Chesapeake/Hampton Roads area. After working for directors of several major companies up and down the east coast, Nancy found her home with us here at FCA in 2010. When you call in to the office, you will be greeted by her kind voice, eager to direct you to the appropriate staff member depending on your needs. You will also periodically receive notifications from Nancy to schedule appointments with your advisor in order to keep you up to date on the current status of your investments.
Nancy spends much of her free time doing volunteer work and enjoys gardening and spending time with her beloved family and grandchildren.
